Homestay with Canadian Families
Accommodations for International Students Homestay Program

a

School staff or the host family will meet the newly arriving student at the airport and provide initial and ongoing orientation to the city, the school and Canadian family living.

Our network of host families are interested in other cultures and value the friendship of its international students. This network consists only of families which offer a safe and comfortable English-speaking environment for cultural learning and language skills development. A safe, friendly, relaxed atmosphere will be found in these homes. Students quickly gain confidence using the English language in everyday communication.

This homestay environment not only promotes the learning of language and culture, but also provides opportunities for happy activities such as family outings, ski trips, camping and cultural events. The host families are in frequent contact with the school and help students with the supervision of their homework.
