Activities
Throughout the year students participate in activities that bring the school together by enjoying outdoor sporting events, barbecues, and games and by exploring places of historical and cultural interest. Students are valued and as such we celebrate all of our students’ talents by conducting student led musical performances, art exhibitions, speech competitions, and multicultural events.
Students attending St. John’s International School have many wonderful opportunities to witness the beauty of the stunning B.C. landscape: gorgeous mountain vistas, numerous lakes, rivers, and parks, and the magnificent Pacific coastline. Depending on the season, students go on skiing and snowboarding expeditions at Whistler or the North Shore mountains, skating, bowling and curling at local sports complexes. In the spring and summer, we enjoy bicycle trips around Stanley Park, kayak adventures, and hikes through nearby mountains and parks. Students develop a great love and respect for nature and gain a greater awareness of the value of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Activities we offer at St. John’s International School offer all students and teachers opportunities to get to know each other in informal, inspiring settings, and to find out about the world they inhabit. Students have experiences that serve to enhance the learning process and create memories that they will never forget.
