St. John's
News for September/October 2004

Our first month at St. John's went by so fast.
My congratulations to all students and staff for their hard work,
keep it up!
On Friday October 1st, we had our student council elections, congratulations
to Celena (President), Tony (Vice President), and Spencer (Public
Relations). Also, congratulations to all supporting members of
student council.
On Sunday October 3, there was the "Day of the Longboat"
competition at Jericho Beach. Our school team, consisting of staff
members and students, competed bravely in two races. Good job
to all St. John's paddlers and participants!
As October moves forward, we have two important events to look
forward. One is Thanksgiving Day and the other is Halloween. Our
student council is feverishly working on Halloween festivities
at the end of this month. Stay tuned......
