Principal’s Message

Welcome to St John’s International School in Vancouver, Canada, where we have been educating, motivating and supporting students from around the world since 1992. The school is proud to provide a welcoming and stimulating environment along the Broadway corridor of Kitsilano, 10 minutes from Granville Island and the heart of downtown, and 20 minutes from the University of British Columbia.

The school provides a learning community that focuses upon the acquisition of knowledge, and the development of academic critical thinking skills. Added to these are the opportunities to enhance artistic skills, participate in athletic activities, and to enjoy a variety of campus events. British Columbia’s Dogwood Diploma is the reward for successful completion of the high school program; it is achieved through diligent study and the perseverance of attendance. Under the guidance of experienced and well-qualified faculty, students are able to progress quickly within the structure of the trimester schedule.

As a result of student successes, many graduates continue their studies at leading universities in Canada, such as the University of Toronto, McGill University, Queen’s University and the University of British Columbia. Some graduates pursue their studies at the top universities in the United States and in Europe.
